Technical Questions

  • If you have a fire related technical query, please direct it to technical@fpaa.com.au
  • As regulations vary from State to State, your location is an important factor to us in being able to provide an accurate reply to your query.
  • Any queries requiring an interpretation of an Australian Standard are commonly referred to our Technical Committees (refer below). Their response will be relayed back to the person making the enquiry by our technical staff.

Technical Committees (TCs)

One of the most important activities of FPA Australia is running the National Technical Committees. There are 5 of these, each with a different speciality, and each provides input into the development of Australian Standards relating to their specific are of fire protection, contributes to the technical policies of the Association and assists in the preparation of submissions to regulatory bodies.
