Fire Systems Supervisor

We are looking for a Systems Supervisor to project manage Mine, Marine, Offshore & International Fire Systems' Maintenance. Must have current Australian Passport, preferably have ASIC, MSIC and HUET if possible. Must be hardworking, reliable, easygoing, and have experience with installing and maintaining CO2, FM200, Inergen, Nitrogen & Pyrogen Suppression Systems; Foam Spray Systems; Fire Pump Ring Main Systems; Water Deluge systems. Experience in Sprinkler systems is desirable but not essential. Experience managing service technicians on the job is desirable.

We are willing to offer the job on a "fly in, fly out" basis from a capital city - i.e. 3 weeks on, 1 week off.

Sessional TAFE Teacher - Community Safety Vacancy Category: 1

Public Safety & Sciences is seeking Sessional TAFE Teachers for the Diploma of Fire Technology, which includes the Certificate IV in Fire Technology.
Based at Hawthorn, successful applicants will primarily be required for half-day sessions/classes that cover Design of Fire Protection Systems components which may include Suppression Type, Passive Type, Monitoring & Communication, Production & Assessment of Working Drawings and Assess or Inspect types above.
Applicants will preferably have a formal Diploma or higher qualification in a relevant field. Industry experience at designer/senior level is essential. Whilst completion of Certificate IV in Training & Assessment is preferable, applicants without this qualification will be considered.
The successful applicant must provide a Working with Children Check.
